Abstract

The contributions of contemporary women artists and their voices not only have artistic significance but also promote cultural discourse and sociality. Nalini Malani and Anita Dubey, both artists, have depicted feminist discourse and the complexities of society through their art. Malani has brought global recognition to women's voices through installations, performances, murals, and media art, while Dubey has raised her voice against patriarchy and violence against women in society through architectural writing and installation. For more than four decades, Malini has carved a distinct identity for herself within Indian patriarchy. Generally, it can be said that Nalini Malani and Dubey's art has given a strong recognition to women's discourse in Indian and modern times on the world stage.
